The Yeezy 700 ‘Teal Blue’ finally has A release date

When we first laid our eyes on the Yeezy 700 ‘Teal Blue’ back in July, we knew straight away that it was a must cop. Striking the perfect balance between the ‘Wave Runner’ and the ‘Inertia’, everything about it was absolutely perfect. Now, fast forward three months and we finally have a confirmed release date!

Featuring a dark blue and deep teal colour palette, bold grey and brown accents also make an appearance for an earthy look and feel that makes it ideal for the autumn months. building on top of an ultra breathable mesh base, buttery smooth suede panels feature from heel to toe, while full grain leather makes up the lacing system.

For an additional pop of contrast, duck egg blue accents make an appearance along the lateral and medial sides. These are infused with 3M reflective material so you can flex even in low light conditions!

Moving downwards and you’ll find a beautifully sculpted midsole. This houses an extra chunky slab of boost for comfort that’s to die for, and lined with a slither of cream rubber for durable traction with every step. One small detail that you probably didn’t notice is the insole that’s simply branded “adidas”; rather than the Yeezy co-branding from previous releases. This doesn’t affect the shoe whatsoever, but it’s an interesting design choice that’s worth mentioning.

While it looks drastically different from the original sample that leaked over summer, it’s still an outstanding colourway that’s sure to turn heads this season. priced at £250, the ‘Teal Blue’ is scheduled to hit adidas UK and select retailers on October 19th, so mark those calendars!

According to sneaker insiders Yeezy Mafia, the Yeezy 700 ‘Teal Blue’ is the only Kanye West sneaker to drop this month, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole supplier for your best chance to cop! What do you think of the reworked colourway? Do you prefer the new version or the old one? let us know what’s on your mind!
